TRADITIONAL BRITISH MEETS URBAN AMERICAN WEDDING WITH A SURPRISE FURRY FAMILY ADDITION - L + W

Lauren + Will met outside a pub while she was on exchange in London for college and quickly turned into a worldwind romance. Fast forward to 2017 they are now based in the UK and own a beef jerky business together. They decided to marry in the US at the Foundry in Long Island City. Keeping with UK tradition Lauren + Will did not see each other before the ceremony which built up the anticipation for them both and was really meaningful. The ceremony was officiated by Harris Bloom, a stand up comic who provided an entertaining, relaxed and genuine ceremony with lots of laughs. Cocktails followed on the Terrace and featured some of the jerky and bacon jam their company Billy Franks makes. While guests enjoyed cocktails the couple snuck off to get some portraits in the side streets to maximize their NYC urban wedding moment. Dinner by Bonbite Catering followed and was a hit with guests and even featured a Baked Alaska presentation which was a meringue/ice cream dessert lit on fire at their table! Speeches followed including the groom's who had a surprise in store for his new wife - a handwritten book about their relationship which ended with a picture - of their new dachshund puppy waiting for them in the UK! Cake and dancing followed until late and guests left with a tongue-in-cheek 'Bloody Married' bloody mary kit favors made by the couple.
